The Moysa Kiddos

The Moysa Kiddos

Finally.... it's Halloween!!! I have been so excited for this night since Mid September. I had seen this Lion costume from Baby Style and just had to have it for Grey. Unfortunately, through the entire month of October he refused to put it on. Well, my sweet baby boy pulled through....big time. I am such a proud Mommy. He wore his costume with pride, Roar, and kept the mane on the entire time...YES!!! Mission accomplished. The night started at Auntie C and Uncle Mike's house playing with Maddy, then Grey and Mads got there costumes on and they were soooo cute. They pretty much both mastered the sounds their costumes make... Meow says Maddy and Roar says Grey. So stinkin cute. Sorry for the crazy amount of pictures, but it was such a fun special night. They both caught on so fast how the whole trick-or-treated thing went. By the end Grey was running towards the front doors with his pumpkin bag out ready to go.

How much candy do you have?? If only you could all see just how much candy they actually had. Maddy at one point was dragging her pumpkin it was so heavy. Her daddy had to empty some into his pockets.

October 26, 2008

Saturday at 10am there was a Halloween costume parade and pony rides taking place at the park just below our house. Greyson and I met up with the Brick clan and Celina, Mike and Maddy for the fun. Seeing as its late October the weather should have been nice and cool, well who has failed to tell Mother Nature what month it is... it was 90 degrees, Gross!!! Greyson rocked his orange shirt instead of his fleece lion costume, he had so much fun. He trick-or-treated for the first time and hula hooped too. I was running after him the entire time cause my little guy is mister curious. Thank goodness there were extra hands available since daddy couldn't be there, cause if not, my stroller...diaper bag and purse would have had a new owner. If you pay attention to the pictures you may be able to see glistening sweat off everyone... or just look at how red Grey's cheeks were. As I was running after him that day I had a "no way" moment... no way is it possible that I have a 16 month old. There's no way we have been blessed for 16 months already with this little miracle. Even after all the trouble this little guy causes... when he is running away from you with his huge smile, I can't help but laugh. Which isn't a good thing to do when you are trying to discipline a child. But laughter is all that comes to me when my little man does his "boy" things. Frustration is usually some where in the mix too, but I am working on that. Does anyone else have a child who literally does a backbend while you are trying to put them in there carseat? I do. Does anyone else have a child who tries to do an alligator roll off the changing table while you are wipeing their poopy bottom? I do. Through these moments comes complete and utter frustration, but when WE get through it... cause it is teamwork... usually we give big kisses and hugs cause we made it through. Grey and I have become quite the team since Daddy is away a bunch right now. We can't wait til the "season" is over and we can have our complete team again.

What are these?

Pat, pat the pumpkin
Poppi (my dad) put a little pumpkin patch together for Maddy and Grey in the backyard. Every time we go to Gamma and Poppi's Greyson is so excited to see the pumpkin. It is too funny how a round, orange object can be so excited. We stare at them, touch them, and read about them everyday, and everyday Grey loves them more and more.

New background

As you can see I have a new background. The other day after doing a new post my blog went crazy... things moved where they shouldn't have and I didn't know why. Well, I figured it out... but in the process got a new background.

Another visit to a pumpkin patch

Well, Greyson had an interesting afternoon... he refused to take a nap!!! So we sadly had to leave Gammas early because he was exhausted, but fighting naptime so bad. Of course, the minute I start driving home he passes out. So we get home and I do a great transfer into his crib and he sleeps til 5:45pm. I finally wake him up for dinner so he will actually go to bed tonight. So after dinner the little guy was wired, so I decided, why not let him tired himself out at the pumpkin patch just below the house. It was alot of fun, just Grey and me... He ran around, sat on some pumpkins and dropped one off a hay bale. This really upset Grey, he got the sweetest little pouty face on and started to cry. I had to explain that it was just an accident and the pumpkin was ok, no boo boos. Then he kept on going...

Pottery Barn Kids sing-along

This morning Greyson, Gamma, and I met up at Pottery Barn Kids with Grey's babysitter and my friend, Kelly, her daughter Ashley and nephew Cody, along with Jen and her son Dylan and Grandma to Ashley and Dylan...Sandy. Our little Maddy girl was there too... I think I got everyone!!! Pottery Barn was having a Halloween sing-along for anyone who wanted to come and enjoy! Well, what a fun Friday morning. The kids got dressed up in there costumes, yes, even Greyson... yippee!!!!

This was the 11:00 show, it was packed

Brushing teeth

Yesterday Greyson and I went to target to get him a new, fun toothbrush. It has Elmo on it, of course. So this morning we made a big deal about his first time using (toddler safe) toothpaste. It is fruity flavored...num num... he said, along with signing, more more. It was pretty hilarious. He has been having his teeth brushed by me for awhile, but just recently he really wants to do it himself. So this is what it looks like....

Daddy is home

Greyson and I drove to LAX last night to pick up Daddy. It was so cute cause all day I had been asking Grey "is daddy coming home tonight?" and he would respond, "ya." Well, you should have seen his face when we were standing at baggage claim, staring at the escalator when Daddy appeared... His eyes lit up and he got the biggest smile on his face. I couldn't take a pic cause I was holding him, but it was pretty stinkin cute. He then reached for daddy and didn't want him to put him down. It was so magical... You just wonder... did Grey understand how long Daddy had been away, did it seem like forever, or just a day. This time of the year is hard cause Geoff is gone soo much. We get a couple days with him right now and then he is off again. Next year I can't imagine how it will be... Grey will be 2 and 4 months old... he will definately get IT.

Just a pretty morning in Aliso Viejo

Yesterday Greyson and I took Chopper for his morning walk and this time I remembered to bring my camera. The last couple mornings have been so pretty, except this morning... Geoff brought home the Ireland gloom.

The leaves on the trees are starting to change color and there is a crispness in the air each morning... I love it, fall is here!!!

Going to Ireland... or so he thinks

Grey came up stairs with me this afternoon to check out the blog on the computer... a little birdie told us Daddy had once again posted a blog. He is a blogging machine over there in Ireland. Well, I heard Grey in the closet getting into some trouble and I found him playing with a few of Daddy's things.

He decided he was going to pack himself away in the suitcase and join Daddy in Ireland. The video will show more =)You may wonder what he is throwing in the bath tub... they are the insoles to Geoff's shoes. He likes putting in really comfy insoles so he has about thirty pairs just sitting on our closet floor. Its wonderful, haha.

Castles in Ireland

well, we drove about an hour south today to Easky to go and check out the sites and some waves.
The wind is up again today and again it is cold!!!!!! In the hours drive we saw some cool scenery and a lot of green grass. Once  we got to the beach the was an old castle right on the beach with has perfect waves in front of it, but not today. We then headed to Sligo to do some shopping and then back to the hotel in Bundoran.
Tomorrow we are doing the 4 hour to the south to Shannon to fly out on Sat morning, then I'm back to see my beautiful family.

Its Really Cold In Ireland

Oh wow, the climate change here is so crazy. Yesterday was nice and sunny in the afternoon and today it is howling onshore wind and about 40 degrees and with the wind maybe mid 30's. The water supposedly dropped today as well, 53 now. Just an off day to get some work done for Gravis, doing interviews and picking photos for upcoming ads.
I love the updates Bri did, I have been missing them sooooooo much since I have been here. My little guy is growing up. I can't to see both of you and have fun being our cool family.
Just a nice pic of the conditions here today, oh yeah the scarf is in full effect today as well as my 3 layers and a beanie. The weather is supposed to be bad the next couple of days as well. Oh well!
