My Tricycle

Greyson has been begging for a bike... Gavin has one, all the kids at the park have one, Maddy has one.... so it was time for Greyson to have one. We said to him today, "do you want a bike?"

"nya" he says... thats yeah! So we told him if he cleaned up all his toys we would go get him a bike. Well, I have never seen him clean up like he did today. He would pick something up and if he didn't know where it went he would show it to me for me to point where to put it.

So with a clean house we headed off to Walmart. They had the one we wanted to get him. Its a Radio Flyer fold n go tricycle. He looks so cute on it. And he did so well around the neighborhood. He was very serious on his bike ride, it tooks lots of concentration... =)

On the ride home from Walmart he had to wear his helmet, but refused to smile

Down hill was his favorite

Snazzy tractor helmet

Charging... he did so well, we were so proud of him
I have to say, watching Greyson hit all these milestones is so much fun... I almost wonder if I want him to grow up too fast... I love that he keeps developing with such grace and such a lack of fear. From moving to a big boy bed now to riding a tricycle and each day trying to say more and more things. You are such a big boy Grey.... keep it up, we are having so much fun!!!!

Birthday Girl Maddy

This was Tuesday at the park together
Cheese!!!1

Birthday Girl..." I do again..." on the run to go down the slide again

"Come on Ga" or "lets go Ga" I can't remember exactly what Maddy said, but she shorten Greysons nickname of Gaga to Ga it was hilarious

1 2 3 Go!!!!

Yesterday, Feb. 27, was Miss Maddy's 2nd Birthday!!!! You are such a big girl now. We had a super fun park day, with yummy lunch and lots of running around. Maddy looked so pretty in her blue ensemble. Greyson and her had so much fun together.

Maddy, you have become such a beautiful, fun, talkative little girl. We love you so much!!!!

Just looking back

I was just organizing all the thousands of pics I have saved to our computer and thought I would share some of really good ones I found.

Some time outside

Greyson and I have been inside alot lately, just with him recovering and me as well... this sick season has been brutal!!! But with my whole family being up in Napa, Greyson and I have been put on cat duty. My parents have three cats, haha, two of them originally being mine. Anyway, we went to my parents yesterday morning to feed the cats and I just had to capture this moment of Grey playing in Poppi's yard

A thought and a photo

I though to myself the other day... and don't take this the wrong way and definately don't take it morbidly ( just my warning) you never know what can happen in a days time... if something did happen to me, is there enough photos, video, cards, letters etc. to remember me by. I realized how truly unbelievable this blog is to me... its my secured way of knowing there will always be enough of my thoughts and feelings available to those who will need them.
I think I have finally come up with a New Year's resolution... take more photos with me in them whether by myself, with Grey or with Geoff.... just be seen on the other side of the camera more.
So in saying all this, here is a photo that my Nana took at Celina's 30 bday party of me and my sisters... super cute, rare photo of us three together. Its very rare partly cause Alyssa lives in San Francisco and partly cause being a mom you always want photos of the kids, but then you realize when looking through all the photos taken... is there even a mom!!!

to Greyson

Dearest Son...
You are the toughest little man I know. You have been faced with so many speed bumps for such a young guy. Most kids your age have been given directions down a smoother path. The last 5 days have been tough and exhausting for daddy and I, but we can't even imagine how it has been for you!!! Your poor eyes, your poor ear, just poor you. When you get the common cold your body does a dousy with it: runny nose = conjunctivitis. Runny nose = ear infection. Runny nose = 105.3 temperature Why this happens who knows, but I know you will always be tough and I admire you for that.
Daddy and I love you dearly... get better soon
Xoxo Mommy

poor eyes

It has been a rough 15 hours at the Moysa house. Greyson woke up yesterday with some eye boogies, who doesn't every once in awhile though, right? Well, ever since Grey being hospitalized at 6 month with a crazy eye infection, we always take eye stuff with him seriously. So our plan... just watch him throughout the day and if it got worse call the doctor Monday a.m. well, in true Grey style it got worse and FAST! He woke up from his nap, eyes shut with goop, and swollen like he got beat while he slept. So at 3:30pm we take a trip to the walk in Kids Doc... 2 1/2 hours later we r called in. Grey is seen and the doc says "my goodness you have quadruple rivers running down your face!" Meaning, both nostrils and both eyes were running...yuck!!!! So she says he has conjunctivitis in both eyes, probably his runny nose gone bad... we leave with a prescription for medicated eye drops. She says after last nights and todays dose he isn't contagious...it just looks bad. So, of course, this leads to a very sleepless night. He has so much pressure going on in his poor head, the act of laying down was tough. So its 7:35 a.m. and we have been up for about 1 1/2 hours already... and soon I am off to work. Zzzz zzzz zzz oops fell asleep typing, I'm soooo tired. The things we do for our sweet little ones.

happy valentine's day

Happy valentine's day everyone... some may say this is a silly holiday, the holiday that allows those who aren't loved all year can demand love for this one day! Well, I get loved all year round and I still love this holiday. Partly because I love my husband so much...why not express it on such a special day. Geoff and I have been together for almost eight years, married for almost three, and I can't wait for all the years to come! Now. Greyson has only been in my life for about 20 months, but I love him so deeply...so happy valentine's day to my two wonderful, loving, special, active boys!!!

Brody update

Here is Brody... he is about 7 weeks old. These pics were taken at C's bday party. He was cruisen as usual. He is looking more and more like a Shwam... definately not much Reehl in this kiddo.

Celina turned 30!!!!

My big sis turned 30 on Feb. 4th. On Feb. 8th we threw her a surprise party. Poor thing probably thought we all forgot about how big this bday was cause we didn't do anything on her actual bday. I babysat her kids, at least, so her and Mike could go to dinner. Anyway, keeping a secret from her was the hardest thing, partly cause we are all always together, so not to slip was hard. Also, she asks a hundred questions... she started to decide where she wanted to go to dinner on Sunday... we had to distract her. So the party took place at the Santa Ana Country Club in the terrace room. Below are pics of when she walked in and we all shouted surprise. So fun!!!!

Once the surprise part was accomplished, then we all could relax and enjoy ourselves. Greyson, Maddy and Ashley had a blast. ( Ashley is our good friends Jason and Kelly's daughter.)

Greyson's Outer Space Room

So I have done almost everything I want to do for Grey's room. After putting it all together there are a few extra projects I have lined up, but here is what is complete so far. At lunch, Geoff and I came up with the idea to hang some things from the ceiling... similar to a mobile, but a modern version. Possibly some rockets and planets... we will see.

This is the fabric that Grey's flat sheet is made out of

This is the duvet cover

This is the small pillow and I will be making on for his chair too

This is another sham

and this is my pillow... hence the flowers. I loved it for me since I am always in Greys chair... I also bought a little extra... hey you never know if the next baby will be a girl=) and if it is Greyson and her will share a room, so why not be prepared hahaha

a rainy day= mall time

It was super rainy this morning into the early afternoon, so we decided to go to the Laguna Hills Mall. We had lunch at Ruby's Diner and watched the planes they have move along the ceiling. Greyson thought they were so cool. Then we ventured into the mall, no stroller, we all just held hands. Grey walked the whole mall stopping twice to ride the little cars they have throughout the mall. It was super fun, then we headed home and Grey slept for three hours =)

so lucky

I have to say I am pretty lucky with how good Greyson is at taking naps. This morning Grey and I hung out at the house waiting for the garage door guy to show up to fix our tweaked door. Then when he finished we headed to my moms to take her to her doctors appointment. Greyson was getting close to lunch around the time we were sitting in the waiting room, so he wasn't his cheery self. As soon as we were done there we met C, Maddy and Brody at Coco's by fashion island. Grey was pretty good til the end he just wanted to leave. So we all head out into the rain and then head to moms. On the way there Grey fell asleep... little man was exhausted. So we get to my moms, I walk up the stairs carrying Grey, I change his diaper then put him in the pack n play... he sleeps thru the entire process. He then procedes to sleep for THREE hours. The amazing thing is this it pretty typical of him. I would have never thought after all the mayhem that came in his first year, that I would get the sweetest, cutest, best napper ever!!!!

I think I deserve it =)

The before

So as most of you know cause of a previous post Greyson got a big boy bed about a month ago. So I have been in the works of re-doing his room.... myself. Thats right, I have already purchased fabric and have been sewing away. Above, are the befores- his original nursery was pirate "themed." His new one will have small touches of "outer space" in a fun modern way. So my plan is to complete his room tomorrow.... and then I will post the afters. I will start with officially taking out his crib... so sad, but also exciting. My baby is no longer a baby.
