Daddy's last day

Sunday we spent soaking in Daddy. We decided to take a trip to the Spectrum to do the usual: lunch, carousel and run around. I pretty much stayed behind the camera this day and tried to capture the little moments between Geoff and Grey. They really are best buds... despite all the bickering =) Greyson looks at his Daddy with such a spark... he knows Daddy has all the answers, he knows Daddy will play the game right, he knows Daddy will rough-house with him, he knows Daddy will "roar" louder... he just loves his Daddy. (I kind of do too...) Nothing more sweet then a 2 1/2 year old and a big green ballon

Waving!!!

Right in step with each other

We love you Daddy... its going to be a long month!!! Be safe riding those big waves...

Tree lighting ceremony 2009

We went to the tree lighting ceremony on Saturday night with the usual group... the Shwams, us and Gamma and Poppi. This year was so much more fun then last year for a few reason:
1) Greyson is older and was mesmorized by the show
2)They put the stage in the middle of the crowd so everyone was that much closer
3) The show was up beat, short and sweet
4)The tree was moved this year to be by Santa's workshop
5)and lastly, cause it took place right before Daddy was leaving us for a month so it was the perfect time to capture us together in the Holiday spirit

A little bit of Hawaii captured in the show

Me and my boy all bundled up

Greyson LOVED the "snow"... I mean LOVED IT!!!! This is when a little piece landed on his nose. It confirmed to Geoff and I that we need to take a trip up to the snow this winter cause the thrill in Grey's eyes was priceless.

Park time with the Shwamy's

It was just a normal day...ending with an afternoon at the park. Maddy and Grey loved the tire swing and Brody and I had a photo op. Nothing too exciting, but pictures worth posting. Maddy and Grey can never get too much of each other. They are 100% like brother and sister, just from a different mother haha. They fight, they laugh, they cry and they love. None of us can imagine one without the other.

Christmas already???

oh the damage... haha... wrapped in beads

Yes... we are one of those families that put up the xmas decorations before Thanksgiving. I love the holidays especially xmas... what makes it really hard each year (this being the hardest year ever) is that Geoff goes of to Hawaii for work. Being in our new place, I just couldn't wait to decorate. I also really wanted us to be able to do it as a family. So on Saturday Geoff brought up all the xmas chaos and we started to unload. Greyson was a big help (enter sarcasm here). It was lots of fun in the end. Daddy did the heavy lifting... yes, we have a fake tree, but we have to due to the above situation... and then mommy did all the beautifying. Greyson... well, he did little damage. I didn't realize I hadn't taken a picture on my camera of the final outcome. Those will come soon. Happy Thanksgiving... and Merry Christmas!!!

I've been scolded...

by my little sister!!!! haha I got a text today from Alyssa, I believe it was sent to Celina too... saying... I want some blog updates please! Well here you go. Nothing exciting... I had to create a blog postable situation =) Here is Greyson decorating a sign for Alyssa and Casey... all 'Cars' stickers, he is officially obsessed with that movie.

Don't miss the stickers all over his shirt

Striking a pose

So we are almost completely moved in and decorated... I am going to play and tweak a few more things I am sure, but for now we love it. Here is our bedroom

No pics of Grey's room yet cause I am not in love with it yet... its a work in progress!!!

One of the new things I love about our new place is there is a grassy area just at the bottom of the stairs. It was so nice out yesterday that Grey, Daddy and I played some baseball. Grey is amazing at the sport already. We can only imagine all the games we are going to be attending through out his life.

Getting ready for Xmas time...

Grey and I took our lunch to the park today for many reasons... partly cause we were not a good couple today. No matter what he did it was driving me nuts, so I thought it would be better to get out of the house, also cause I am sick of unpacking and lastly, cause I wanted to get a picture of him for our xmas cards that I want to send out early so people get our new address. Sooooo with all that said... below are a few of the funny photos I got today... obviously, I am not going to post a pic of the one I used! You'll have to wait... which reminds me... for those of you who view this blog and I probably don't have your current address email it to me: brimoysa@gmail.com
I purposely ordered lots of xmas cards so everyone gets our new address!!!

I will post after pictures as soon as I love how it all looks. Now below is unfortunatley a jumble of pictures from Halloween night... we did our move that day so it was probably the longest day I have had in awhile, but we finally pulled ourselves together and had an AMAZING time with friends and family.
