Santa Ana Country Club Easter Egg Hunt

Today was the SACC Easter Extraveganza.... us girls grew up going to this event so it was so much fun seeing our kids do it too. Greyson and Maddy were so cute and had so much fun. It was a really great day... the weather cooperated with no rain, but it was a bit chilly. Greyson was so cute in his Easter outfit that Mommy picked for the country club... collars are required =) He got a new pair of converse cause he is officially a 6 in them. Before the egg hunt took place there was coloring stations, storytime corner, crochet, and pictures with the Easter bunny... and yes we did torture Greyson to get a picture. Celina had to talk me into it and I, then had to talk Geoff into it. It was decided that it is far more fun to have a pic of a screaming child then to have no pic at all. Sadly, I didn't take any pics with my camera so I don't have any of those to upload. I will have to get them from celina cause she got pics of all three of them on the bunny's lap... and those ones are cute. After the Easter bunny photo shoot the egg hunt began... wowzer, it was out of control. Who knew the country club had no idea what they were doing. It was a frikin free for all. No age group separation, nothing, just complete mahem. So Celina and I turned into sprinters and ran to grab about 5 eggs each to then bring back to Maddy and Greyson who were charging in their own right, but still not fast enough to out run the 12 YEAR OLDS... HELLO!!!! Obviously the kids didn't notice either way, but we were all so sad for them that they didn't get the true experience of capturing their own eggs. Celina and I were exhausted after running in heels on a driving range... geez....

after brunch the kids still had energy to burn off and where else do they want to burn it off but on the putting green... this kills my dad every year!!!
