Ladera Ranch Easter Bash

This morning was the Ladera Ranch Easter Bash.... I was super excited for it cause I knew Greyson would really enjoy it. Yesterday he helped pick out a Easter basket... I haven't found one that I want to get embroidered so we will save that for next year. Anyway... he looked super cute in his plaid orange and blue shorts with his sidewalk surfer shirt and green Easter basket. When we got there the whole world hadn't arrived yet so we took him to the toddler egg hunt area and he went to town. We didn't have to do much instruction he just started putting the eggs in his basket. We finally had to have him stop cause his basket was over flowing and we wanted to give some of the other kids a chance!!!

Now, of course there can't be an Easter extraveganza without the Easter Bunny. I wasn't about to force Grey to get a picture with him, instead we let him check him out his own way.... from the other side of the fence. That is right... Grey liked it just fine looking at the big Bunny and his scary "he-she" companion. (you had to have been there) So the following two pics are of Greys encounter with the Easter Bunny.

Then Maddy, Brody, Auntie C, Kelly, Jason, Ashley, Pete and Sandy arrived and then Greyson had buddies to play with. Maddy and Greyson wouldn't let go of each others hands... they finally realized that if they are holding an easter basket in one hand and their cousins hand in the other then there is no way to pick up easter eggs... so they finally released each other. It was too cute.

Oh bubbles.... what a hit.

Taking a break, sitting at the end of the big blown up slide waiting for Ashley to ride down. While they waited they started to discover the treasures inside their easter eggs.... stickers, rings, etc.

Before we left we stopped one more time by the Easter Bunny so Maddy could see him... well this time Grey got too good of a look and the screaming kids on the bunny's lap didn't help. How sad is the above face???

Trying to be so brave he took one more look... oh yeah he definately doesn't like the Easter Bunny.... take a look at the tatoo Grey got at one of the booths... its a chocolate bunny (Geoffs idea.)
