Who would have thought... Hummus

I would have never thought my child would like hummus. I took me about 24 years to like hummus, but it is one of Greys favorite things. He uses pretzels to dip and it is so funny to watch him demonstrate to me what it is he wants when he is describing hummus and pretzels... it goes something like:
"omme" meaning come
I then follow him into the kitchen
he "knock knock"s on the pantry door
I open it, he looks for the pretzels
"nyah" meaning yeah pointing at the pretzels
I grab them from the pantry...
he then does a demostration of him holding a pretzel between his pointer and thumb and dipping it into hummus and back out of hummus... up and down, up and down
he then goes to the fridge, pulls on the handles, I open the fridge, grab the hummus
"nnnnyyyyyyyaaaeeeehhhhh"' he says running to the table to wait for me to bring the best snack in the world:
hummus and pretzels

It is our way of communicating and I love it so far. Good job buddy, keep up the good work.
