Easter morning

I'm a little behind on updating so forgive me. Here are some photos of Easter morning...

Italian dinner with our Italian family

The Saturday before Easter was the day we had the Easter egg hunt at the country club, that night we joined the fam for a little Italian dinner and celebration. My Papa was having a birthday approaching so we celebrated it a bit early. We all met at this yummy restraunant close by and had a really good time.

Wild Animal Park

C and I took the kids to the San Diego Wild Animal Park last Friday and it was so much fun. It was a beautiful day, we got there nice and early and immediately headed to the tram for the adventure into Africa. It was so fun to see Grey's reaction to all the huge animals, he loved it. Maddy had been dying to see the giraffe so that was definitely a highlight. We enjoyed a yummy lunch and then headed home around 1:30... and as usual had an adventurous ride home. No one decided to take a nap, instead we had the usual breakdowns. What's a trip without those???

Easter Easter...eggs everywhere

It's Easter time. Thank goodness there was Easter to look forward to after the week we have had. Grey was crazy sick after his first week at Kindercare. Double ear infection, sinus infection, eye infection... fever for over five days. This mama was exhausted. We at least had a little guy feeling better by Thursday so Grey and I decided to color some Easter eggs. We didn't have enough eggs for the first round so we made a quick trip to the store and bought some more.

Then today was the Easter extravaganza at the Santa Ana Country Club. Alyssa and Casey came into town and the kids were so excited to see them. Grey took his picture with Easter bunny. Still not quite sure of him.

Then we tried to take a family photo, but that didn't work so well. Greyson is a little off from the medicine he is on... makes him irritable, and hurts him tummy. So we have a spark plug on our hands...at any second he blows a fuse.

The theme this year was circus so they had a group of acrobates...it was interesting, but Grey thought it was pretty cool swinging in the red drape

After the hunt Grey showed off all the blue eggs he found.... yes, he would only pick up the blue ones. He would run right past the other colors... at one point Geoff snuck a red and yellow egg in his basket and when he saw them he threw them out on the floor.

After brunch we desperately tried for a family photo... this is what we got...not too bad. We couldn't quite worry about the height issue.... the giant ( me) blocking Geoff... Dad hiding behind mom cause he and Geoff had no room. Casey the floating head... and then there is the Shwam fam... looking pretty good. =)
